I haven't been updating my journal in a long time so I figured I should take the time to write something.
How is everyone doing in this "busiest time of the year"?
Have you completed your Christmas shopping yet or will you be running around during the last days before Christmas desperately searching for that perfect gift?
For me, decorations are up and the hunt for gifts is on!

My computer is slowly dying on me so I haven't been able to play with Photoshop as much as I would have liked to lately.
I think the only cure is getting a new one but I'm so lost in the massive jungle of computers. For me a RAM is a male sheep (fear my nOObiness )

That aside, more art is coming! I won't let a slow computer stop me if I want to draw. I even have a couple of surprises for you DA people that I hope you will enjoy.

OMG, I haven't updated DA in ages!!
I'm gonna start going through all my messages and deviations asap. I'll also upload some more art soon. I might not have been my regular creative self but I have been sketching a lot and I already have plenty of art that just need a final effort to be finished so that's what I'm aiming to do at the moment.

I hope everyone enjoyed their summer so far. Summer has been coming around slow here but these last couple of weeks we've had pretty nice weather so I've been out fishing a bit (no big catch yet. lol) I did see a wild otter the other day though. Didn't know we had them around here. And there was a big elk on the road home. Always cool to see wild animals. I heard rumours that we even have wolfs around these parts now. Doubt I ever will be able to see ém though.

I also got a new camera a while back since my old one died months ago. A Nikon Coolpix s560. I haven't had a chance to try it out much yet but it's easy to handle and the photos I tested so far has been decent.

Anyway, I promise you'll see some new art here soon!!

Sorry for the lack of updates recently.
Right now I'm desperatly tired but I can't sleep so I figured I'de just update my neglected journal.
I've been down with fever for a couple of days now and on top of it all I experienced one of my worst evenings in a looong, long time. It's so painfully upsetting I won't even speak about it...
That's why, right now, I'll change the subject and try to focus forwards!

I'm going down south to visit *LazyJenny next week. I'm gonna stay there for about two weeks so that will give us time to be creative
I've been practising a little bit of realism lately but since I'm more or less new to the area it takes me at least tripple the time to finish something. I do feel like I'm learning a thing or two from it though.

I have been playing a bit of Okami lately. I bet you people who have played the game will understand when I say it's addictive!
I love games where there's a lot of sidequests and secrest. It makes exploring so much more fun. The only things that bugs me is the language, or should I say...the lack of it. It's suppoused to take place in Japan so why not have japanese speach instead of that endless..gibberish.

Well, I think that will be it for this time. I'm totally drained and can't for the life of me think of anything interesting to write XD

My Christmas was great! In fact I think it was my best one in years. I was really sick before Christmas (flu and bronchitis) so I wasn't done shopping gifts until the very last minute.
Other then that everything was nice! Got a couple of nice presents to;
New mp3, New bathrobe, small portable USB memory, some games, new handbag, MLP Mexican Baby Surprise (from *LazyJenny), movie tickets (from work) and...... a new cell phone!
My old phone is more or less dead and even though I really hate phones people seem to insist that they want to be able to reach me whenever. How silly... XDXD

New years went by smoothly as well.
I'm not one for resolutions because I'm under the impression that if there's something I want to promise myself I can do so anytime of the year.
This year however I did give myself a resolution; To develop my art more.
I feel that I've been very lazy this year.... Not that I haven't drawn but the fact that I haven't been paying much attention to development. I really need to practise more realistic, perspectives, light sources and so on. We’ll see by the end of this year if I made it…*gulp*

My birthday is coming up in the end of January (26th to be precise). I didn't celebrate my birthday at all last year which was kind of sad. I remember the most eventful thing I did was eating a cheeseburger, lol!
Might bake a cake or something for this year at least.

I've been having a subscription for probably about two years and not until now I take advantage of the CSS for the journal. What a waste.
Still, writing CSS is amazingly hard!!
I've been reading loads of tutorials here on DA until I grasped the basics and finally was able to make this journal. It might not look like much... I wanted colors that would blend in nicely with the DA layout while still being able to add some of my own colors and art. The header art was made rather fast so I might have to go back and replace it with something better later on. Fear the big eyed chibis! Lol!
Anyhow, it's my first attempt to do some CSS coding so if anything looks off let me know so I can try and fix it *gulp*

When I was younger I was in a dance group. We had several preformances and ended up in newspapers. Our team broke up when school started to get more serious and I don't think I've danced much since. In fact, I'm not into dancing at all these days. Watching dance is okay but I'm positive I'de just break a leg if I tried again.
