Commission for ~eponyart

Anyone familiar with Terry Prachett should recognise A'Tuin and the Discworld. However instead of elephants holding up the disc there are pretty My Little Ponies
The shell of A'tuin got a nice meteor scarred surface and I even manage to get a night and day effect for the disc.

This took time obviously! Not only is it very detailed but the working size for this is probably one of the biggest I've ever worked on (width- 5000 pixels)
At critical times when opening the file and/or saving I almost feared for the life of my computer, haha:O_o:
Even so I love how it turned out! :D

What a lovely idea! And I understand your PC fear... mine spazzes out if I try to open PS7 whilst running eMule.

Anyway, sparklingly detailed and incredible, as always. Marvellous. I'd love to work with you again soon on one of my projects. :)

Oooh...I remember watching the show on tv, I've tried and read the book ones but I couldn't follow them...

Great artwork, absolutely outstanding!

Squeeeeeeeeeeeee! Ahem... sorry, it's just that, by hitting my two most favourite things, this picture has managed to bring out the fangirl in me. I'm so loving this!

Oh wow.... I was so curious when you told me about this little project. Never would I have imagined it would look so good! (well, everything you do looks good, but still...)
You made A'tuin look so good and the ponies are so cute!

Ooh, but you forgot those very high mountains in the middle of the disc. ;)

Still, this is just amazing! A definite +fav, and I'm gonna feature it the next time I update my journal. :D

I said it in my e-mail when she showed me the piece and I'll say it again, it's just perfect. Annie is an amazing artist. After commissioning her to create my ';painter pony' I knew that she was the right artist to portray my discworld idea, created a stunning piece of artwork and even going the extra mile by adding the meteor scars and night/day effect. It fits exactly what I imagined and I would highly recommend to everyone that they try and grab a piece of her artwork.

Havent read the Discworld-books, but my boyfriend recognized "everything" immideatly, hehe :) Really cool work though!

My goodness, this is amazing! :wow: You're right--it is very detailed! It looks more like a celestial ocean than bleak space. And you were very creative with it, too :D I also love your little kitty watermark in the corner.
